My name is Jenny Phelps and I want to tell you about how at one point my house was overrun with fleas. I tried a few things and the problem never fully went away, and when dealing with fleas they quickly multiplied and the problem was back all over again. Well, after plenty of research I found out exactly what I needed to do to get rid of fleas for good. I'm not a professional, and I didn't even need to call one to do the trick. I used this knowledge, a flea comb, and this ONE good product that I found. This is my story.
How did my flea infestation get so bad?
To be perfectly honest I had no idea what signs to look for. I thought when my dog started itching, that her skin was dry from playing in the sun. Then, I mistook the other signs on the rest of the family as just a rash. It's really simple to miss a few fleas or a few flea bites, but it does not take very long at all to have thousands of these foul little insects all over your home.
To make a long story short, I just did not have the right knowledge to prevent this from happening. So from the lack of knowledge on my part and the tremendous ability that fleas have to multiply, I had a gigantic problem on my hands.
Fortunately, through “pure luck” I found the solution to my problems.
After I finally realized that I was dealing with a flea infestation and was disgusted by my situation, I quickly got on the internet and started searching for a remedy. Of course I found many answers. I tried quite a few that failed me.
Most of the solutions I found had only one technique to remove fleas from my home, but then my pets would go outside and bring them back into the house. Other solutions gave me tips for removing them from my pets, but then they would get re-infected. Some of them just required buying way too many different things. A flea collar, flea bomb, flea spray, flea shampoo, home spray..etc. And after all that still did not work.
It was frustrating. But I finally found the solution I was looking for. It took me a few sites, and a lot of time on my part to find the techniques and this one product I needed to get the job done.
What is the solution that worked best?
Like I said, it took some time, but I found one single product that was a surefire way to not only safely get rid of the fleas inside the house and on my dogs, but in the yard too. This is what I used that did the trick:
Step 1: Get Rid of the Fleas on Your Pet
- First you need to use a Flea Comb - this is used to remove those disgusting insects from your pet's fur.
- Then, apply this Flea Powder - This is the one solution I was telling you about that finally did it for me.
It's not like other flea treatments...
This flea powder feels like soft powder to humans, but on a microscopic level it is actually razor sharp! When a flea comes into contact with it, their protective coating is pierced and they immediately lose their bodily fluids, get dehydrated and die.
Step 2: Get Rid of Fleas in the House
- First, sprinkle this Flea Powder all over the carpet.
Then vacuum every inch of the house. Get out the attachment and clean the corners of the rooms. This is to suck up all the dead fleas in your carpet.
(You should repeat this process once every month for 3 months to make sure you've gotten rid of all of them and to avoid a re-infestation.) - Be sure to also put the treatment all over the rest of the house too, such as on the furniture, the pet's beds, etc.
Step 3: Get Rid of Fleas in the Yard
- This is very important because if you don't get rid of fleas from the yard they will keep coming back when your pets go outside. Sprinkle the flea powder all over your yard.
I am so glad I got rid of my flea infestation. They make life uncomfortable and it's really gross thinking that they survive off of sucking blood.
I found the right techniques and hope you can use them the next time your are faced with the same horrific situation.
Hopefully my experience has helped you and if you want to give it a shot yourself, I hope you receive the same results.
